Your responsibilities

The Product Assurance, Risk & Security (PARS) organization exists to keep our customers and partners safe, protect associates, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Compliance Operations (C-Ops) is the operational arm of the organization. The team partners with worldwide program teams to classify products and ensure Amazon’s product listings follow regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.

C-Ops supports regulatory compliance requirements for Amazon’s worldwide programs such as Restricted Products, Dangerous Goods, Global Trade Services, Product Assurance, Food Safety and Product Safety.

C-Ops Training team is hiring a Learning Business Partner (LBP) in Iasi, Romania. The LBP for learning programs will drive global learning programs and will work with local Ops leaders for the implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities

Build high-trust partnerships with regional teams to understand their leadership challenges and opportunities. Develop recommended solutions that address top priority needs.

Build positive, collaborative and action oriented partnerships among SMEs, peers, and stakeholders to scale global leadership solutions.

Work both independently and as part of a team to design and deliver targeted and engaging leadership solutions that is culturally aligned and best suits audience needs and tangibly impact performance.

Solutions may include in-person leadership skill building workshops, team development events, virtual learning experiences and on demand learning resources.

Facilitate leadership development experiences using skillful application of adult learning theory to ensure learning outcomes are achieved.

Draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer, skill development as well as efficient and fun learning.

Select, design and deploy appropriate mechanisms to measure learning impact.

Produce written reports to communicate and gain support for solutions, measurement and evaluation plans.

Lead and program manage initiatives or programs, track and report on outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a balanced mix of quantitative, consultative, and facilitation / leadership skills, documented track record in driving change, innovation in training, and leading in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Our requirements

The selected candidate should exhibit the following :

Quantitative, consultative, and facilitation / leadership skills, documented track record in driving change, innovation in training, and leading in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.

Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced work environment and manage time appropriately.

Ability to manage senior cadre stakeholders from core and enabling functions

Bachelor's degree concluded in Teaching, Translation, and Business Administration / Management. (no specific field is recommended) or 4+ years of experience in Learning management roles.

Knowledge of the foundational learning theories including adult learning and neuroscience of learning

Strong communication skills and ability to influence others using written and spoken forms of communication

Advanced English proficiency (C1 Level).

This is not a virtual position. Due to the current situation caused by COVID-19, if selected for this role, a laptop will be provided for you to work from home.

However, once our company provides clearance, you will be required to continue working from our IAS- 12 building, in our Romania office.
