Job Description

RTR Senior Specialist - General Ledger (Legacy)Goal of the position : This role will be responsible for month end closure coordination (month / year) and supervision of financial data for dedicated entities, especially quality of reconciled accounts and financial reporting.

Additionally, should take active part in scope transitions and process transformation, leading improvement projects, fostering GFS compliance and conducting 3M principles.

Duties and responsibilities : Preparing accounting entries and performing period-end coordination (accruals calculation, GL and cc adjustments, reports sign off)Coordinating transitions of knowledge and activities from Local Finance to Service Centre organizationPreparing reports, documentation and financial data for the Country Managers / tax controls / obligatory reportingReviewing reconciliation of accounts for dedicated entities.

Supporting investigation and resolution of any reconciling differences on the assigned accounts.Coordinates and facilitates the process of documenting accounting policies and proceduresImprove and develop internal processes and controlsTook part in internal and external audits with resolution of audit queries and documentation preparation for tax controls / obligatory reporting.

Coordinates and drives issues resolving with country Managers, preparation of financial reports and data.Assisting with issues or questions from Local Management and auditors queriesCost analyzing and expense control, budget planning and verification.

Maintaining sufficient cash for operations, cash management and reporting (deposits, loans).Fixed assets reporting control and periodic verification according to standards.

Engagement in obtaining and developing accounting knowledgeOther, as supervisor may order.Education and experience : University degree in finance or similar subject.

Advantage if committed to obtaining a high level accountancy qualification ( i.e. CIMA / ACCA) as an asset5 - 7 years of relevant experience in finance.
