Role Purpose

Project and Contract Accounting Manager is responsible for managing set of P&CA NWE teams with people management and operational responsibilities.

Engaged in the provision of financial support, insight and analysis to senior business managers, influence business decisions, evaluate financial risks and opportunities and effectively analyze financial performance against target outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage teams of P&CA NWE located in Lodz
  • Manage the relationship between the P&CA NWE Lodz and key NWE stakeholders as well as satisfactory resolution of occurred challenges
  • Effectively manage financial and management reporting activities to deliver accurate and reliable financial information related to customer contracts to measure and evaluate business performance (Lifetime reviews, Balance Sheet reviews, Business Assurance reviews, other internal controls)
  • Influences operational management decision making to optimize performance and protect the company assets
  • Responsible for identifying and evaluating the impact of business-related issues and designing suitable solutions to achieve successful outcomes
  • Ensure achievement of performance / quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements and objectives for the year
  • Monitor, update and develop SLAs & KPI’s for P&CA processes
  • Manage effectiveness and efficiency of P&CA processes and improvement initiatives across teams
  • Support and develop the team leaders and their teams through regular communication, planning, coaching and performance reviews as well as ensuring development paths for TLs and their teams
  • Proactively support the finance function in its offshoring strategy with focus on transition of controlling processes
  • Release value into the organisation by leveraging the talent in the finance function and focus on value to the business activities
  • Support implementation One ERP via ensuring resources without harm on operations
  • Ensure Knowledge Management for all P&CA NWE scope
  • Review outputs from all internal and external audits and follows up and implement recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure process controls are appropriate and fully implemented across area of responsibility
  • Play the role of Single Point of Contact for NWE key stakeholder as Lodz Finance representative
