Currently we are looking for exceptional Fixed Asset Analyst to join our Global Shared Services in Łódź (Poland)
The Fixed Asset Analyst will record the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets, track existing projects and fixed assets, record depreciation, and account for the disposition of fixed assets.
In addition, the Analyst will have to perform fixed asset accounts reconciliation to the General Ledger. The objective of this role is to work closely with Finance to ensure that the accounting records accurately reflect the results of the associated business process are in line with US GAAP and comply with respective local statutory and tax requirements.
The role holder is expected to be able to develop a business partnering skillset to provide end-to-end support to the finance team.
Core responsibilities :
On a daily basis processing of asset capitalization, maintenance, retirement requests and setup or maintenance of the assets in the Fixed Asset module in SAP.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure capitalization of assets in a timely manner & ensure that accounting is transferred from the sub ledger to the general ledger.
Performing the monthly depreciation runs to ensure that depreciation accounting is completed in a timely manner.
Partnering with the Local Business to ensure any issues associated with capitalization or performing asset maintenance is supported in a timely manner.
Support other operational teams who consume data provided by the core operations team & liaise with them to ensure there are no upstream or downstream issues with the transactions.
Participate in a culture of continuous improvement with focus on improving processes & delivery efficiency as well as a world class customer experience.
Support reporting requirements for legal entity & business finance controllers.
Significant previous experience in SSC / BPO in Fixed Assets area
University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent courses with experience
Good attention to detail & problem solving skills
Outstanding analytical, organizational and research skills with attention to detail
Good understanding of accounting principles
Good command of English, both verbal and in writing
Good Excel knowledge
VBA / Access / SQL will be an asset
Proven knowledge of SAP / BW
High level of customer service and very good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
