ABOUT THIS JOB

We won’t say we can predict the future, but our team of Analytics Consultants get pretty close. This role combines data analysis and client consultation from the start, with plenty of room for growth.

You find the stories behind scatter plots and help clients determine which products to launch. Your insights will influence decisions for some of today’s leading global companies We are the key link between Nielsen and clients.

Our service and delivery is the reason clients will continue to invest in our products and services. To run independently the set-

up & the execution of projects by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting

sales data and constructing presentations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Summarize data in tables, charts, and graphs
  • Analyze and interpret sales data + One Nielsen portfolio data
  • Deliver final presentations (category overview as well as issue-based) building a story and final actionable recommendations incl. sales leads
  • Use internal tools and data sources
  • Follow and fully owns ways of the working process, manages Clients Client Business Partners’ (CBP) expectations
  • Interacts with client staff
  • Lead client meetings and presentations over the phone and in-person
  • Independently discusses analysis design to best answer client questions with CBP / client
  • Discuss design and calculate the Quantified Business Opportunity
  • Drive time / cost-effectiveness on the project
  • Run meta-analysis / cross projects to increase the team’s expertise and visibility
  • Mentor junior team members as well as providing guidance to peers
  • Inspire peers and co-workers
  • Identify sales opportunities at client

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong business and financial acumen (including business environment and client)
  • High level of client service skills
  • Understanding of growth and brand strategy
  • Strong Business English knowledge, both verbal and written (and the local language)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills & visualization skills interested in storytelling techniques
  • Comfortable working in a digital-enabled environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a virtual environment
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Google Sheets / Slides
  • Strong Organizational & interpersonal skills
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing Research
