Hello! We are Macrobond Financial, an international company with a bright future in our industry. Our flagship product, the Macrobond application, is a single platform that combines an extensive macroeconomic and financial database with easy-to-use tools for analysis and smart data visualization.

We are looking for a person to join our IT Operations Team who will help us with network operation topics. We’re searching someone who will be responsible for redesigning our network, planning and maintenance.

Here is a short description of the role and the criteria we'd like you to meet as a candidate.Your main responsibilities :

Redesign our network environment with IT OPS and IT Security

Analyze and make strategic choices of the technologies we use

Manage firewalls, switches, VPNs, UTMs, VLANs, proxies in our offices worldwide

Migrate existing firewalls to a new platform selected by you

Analyze problems and propose service improvements

Be responsible for implementation and maintenance of procedures and security policies

Update documentation of existing network / firewall environments, document new ones

Participate in consultations, projects and implementations

Be an active team member and support our IT OPS Team

Our requirements for this role :

A few years of professional experience in planning and management of networks

Experience with devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, UTM and network analysis tools

Very good understanding of IPv4, IPv6 networks

Experience in working with redundant infrastructure, where production systems should work even if any single component fails

Knowledge of scripting languages allowing for task automation

Very good written and spoken English (B2 / C1)

High sense of responsibility

Open for sharing knowledge with other people

Open for business trips and ready to work out of standard hours if it’s required on case-by-case basis

Nice to have : SD-WanBGP for both IPv4 and IPv6Experience as systems administrator of Linux Debian / Windows ServerKnowledge about virtualization (KVM / VMware / LXC)Certifications (CCNP, CCIE ea.) or similar
