An opportunity to join Middle Office client service team within the Client Service Operations in Poland supporting Middle Office client service HUB in France.
Working to provide a high quality service levels through direct interaction with client. The team has a strong focus on networking both internally and externally to resolve complex inquiries.
Middle Office Cash team at State Street is providing high value added service to external and internal client of State Street.
Ensuring completion of relevant tasks, client reporting providing subject matter expertise on more complex issues;
Detect issues and modify operational processes in order to improve the client experience
Monitoring the resolution of urgent client requests and the first level escalation;
Take part in production activities of Middle Office Loans
Assistance in a new business onboarding;
Establishment and implementation of actions to prevent reoccurrence on operational failures;
Co-operating with other internal teams in different locations and time zones;
Participation in client service calls (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly);
Developing and maintaining critical relationships with internal dependent units, clients, cross functional operational groups and global counterparts;
Support / coordination of process improvement and participation in strategic projects where necessary
Manage and improve control of activities
2+ years of relevant fund industry experience : track record of managing and improving processes and delivering excellent client service
Academic background, including a degree in economics, finance, science or engineering;
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (level C), interpersonal skills, ability to explain technical topics;
Knowledge of French would be an asset;
Strong understanding of financial markets : custodian cut offs, settlement methodology, trade lifecycle (specifically electronic trade confirmation), settlement risk exposure;
Knowledge of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, FX, repo, money market);
Highly self-motivated; detail oriented; and ability to work collaboratively;
Ability to multitask under pressure in a deadline driven environment;
Strong analytical, problem, solving and decision making skills.
