On this exciting program, you will be employed in your logistics coordinator role on a permanent contract from day one and eligible for Arrow’s comprehensive remuneration and benefits package.
We will work side by side to accelerate your transition from a fresh graduate into the business world and kick start your career.
We will provide you with a solid foundation of skills in logistics, all the support and training that you will need, including a mentor, online and workshop training, continuous development and coaching.
You will join a team of Graduates based across Europe, making new friends and forming crucial working relationships. You will be learning in a group with fellow graduates, as part of a team with other Arrow employees and alone on personal projects.
You will work in your home country but will also rotate on a quarterly basis in different countries across Europe. Training will be delivered by attending face to face sessions and via state-
of-the-art e-learning tools.
A mentor will be assigned to guide you, support you and will be involved in monitoring your progress and providing feedback throughout your journey.
You will also focus on gaining on-the-job experience. Arrow believe that by integrating you fully into the business and giving you the responsibility for your tasks is the best way to learn.
We will assign practical work alongside your personal and group projects.
You will meet and learn from experienced people from a variety of teams : sales, pre sales, marketing, finance & operations.
You will work alongside experts in their field and will support them in the following tasks :
in advising our sales teams, partners, customers and vendors on the best way to deliver our solutions to multiple international locations whilst taking away complexity.
working with goods moving out of our warehouses in different EMEA countries. You’ll consult our customers and partners in terms of best export and import solutions and monitor and process these special freight movements.
You’ll be in charge for the logistics offering process, but you’ll also manage data for international shipments and provide support for many steps of the transportation process.
Additionally, you will be expected to work very closely with your counterparts in the other teams and departments, in operations / purchasing, in finance, in sales, in legal, logistic and in particular you will ensure that our customers and sales people are fully supported in terms of international roll-outs.
Logistic Service Consultant at Arrow is typically involved in :
Providing support to internal and external customers
Evaluating challenges, risks, complexities of international business and specificities of the project to determine the best way to deploy the rollout
Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, internal stakeholders to gather all relevant information and provide solutions to complex logistics transactions
Negotiating tariffs with freight vendors and quoting freight charges to the customer
Working with freight vendors in arranging freight movement and rearranging in transit to satisfy customer needs;
Preparing necessary documentation for the export / import
Executing the rollout according to the agreement with the customer
Tracking all shipments and follow up with freight vendors as well as customer; providing a final report to the customer
Other, specific to the program
Take responsibility for projects (individual and in group) and create innovative solutions that have an impact on what Arrow does as a business
This 12 month journey will allow you to learn how we operate on the day to day basis and how you can make an important difference supporting our customers.

You should have successfully completed their university degree studies in a Business related or other relevant degree before the program starts early October 2019.
You must be flexible and have geographical mobility
You must have a legal right to work in the country the position is located
Fluency in English is a key requirement of the program
