Job Description

As a member of the Europe, Canada and Partner market (ECP) regional brand team, the role will work in close collaboration with the brand lead, program manager and cross functional partners on (but not limited) to the following : lead execution of product / launch strategy, develop core tactics and pre-launch programs to drive growth of the Fumarates portfolio oriented to health care professionals, assess / track competitive trends and brand performance with action plans, manage internal asset portal, and assist brand team members with internal / launch meetings and best practice sessions to enhance strong affiliate execution.

Fumarates (Sr). Manager, Marketing will ensure that all initiatives are developed based on a deep understanding of the customer, product / launch strategy and are executed with high quality in a manner that drives high ethical standards and compliance.

1. Develop and successfully execute on commercial launch / strategy for Biogen Fumarates Portfolio in close collaboration and alignment with Global, Regional, and local partners :

  • Develop core tactics and pre-launch programs (against the above market plan) to drive continued growth across the Fumarates Portfolio and in close collaboration with the Fumarates regional brand team and regional cross-functional partners
  • Responsible for co-creating materials in collaboration with affiliate marketing teams
  • Collaborate w / Global team to customize centrally created tools to leverage across region.
  • Reviews / Roll-out Fumarates materials with affiliates / EPM and supports localization
  • Track metrics and deployment to measure the impact of the programs and generate progress reports
  • Leads best practice sharing of Fumarates initiatives to enhance strong affiliate / market execution
  • Contributes to ECP above the market brand planning development
  • 2. Stay Competitive and ahead of competition :

  • Lead evaluation and development of action plans to address core competitors
  • Analyse, assess, and track competitive trends to define action plans
  • In collaboration with global CMI, track brand performance
  • Attendance at and engagement to deliver content at Congresses
  • Field Work as appropriate
  • 3. Focus on Strong Collaboration and Regional Support :

  • Co-manages internal asset regional content platform
  • Communicates and supports pull through of key programs from region across 1 : 1, and monthly engagements
  • Lead best practice sharing of initiatives to enhance strong affiliate execution against goals
  • Participate and assist in prep of launch meetings and internal activities
  • Assist with External Stakeholder engagements / execution internal processes
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of local market dynamics and key business drivers to effectively prioritize support and drive consistency / efficiency of scale
  • Work with brand lead on launch operation team execution (drive agenda, meetings)
  • Ensures a strong interaction and efficient working relationship with x-functional stakeholders (Medical, V&A, Commercial Training, Legal, Regulatory) to ensure excellence in execution of key programs
  • 4. Compliance

  • 100% compliance with all internal and external SOPs, Regulations, Laws and Training
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in similar roles
  • Affiliate experience is relevant
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in pharma / biotech / consumer-health marketing
  • Strong analytical skills / ability to analyze data from multiple sources
  • Digital savviness and confident / influential communication skills
  • BSc. Business Degree (in sciences)
  • Fluent in English (Written and spoken proficiency)
  • Additional European languages preferred
  • Ability to work remotely / virtually and across both team and individual environments
  • Capable of setting priorities and remaining focused
  • Strong cross functional experience and ability to collaborate across functions and levels
  • Strong team-worker
  • Project management experience
