The main purpose of the role is to execute a portfolio of transformational projects as well as build strong execution capabilities using Lean and Agile-based approaches to drive meaningful organizational change.
Define best practices and maintain these standards to allow the organization to learn and leverage these techniques. Collaborate with different, cross-functional teams at all levels of the company to drive continuous improvement and solve complex business problems.
This combines senior expertise with practical, hands-on support for projects, operational activities, and strategy deployment.
As part of the role in Group Business Services Krakow Management, Business Engagement & Digital Transformation Director drives effective and stimulating cooperation across various teams, processes, systems and functions and contributes to the co-creation of Group Business Services Cracow culture.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Business Transformation
Develop long and short-term plans for the most significant business processes transformations and lead its implementation
Influence and collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners, building strong relationships to ensure consensus and influence change outcomes.
Fosters open and honest communication which anticipates stakeholder expectations
Support regional leadership in managing and leading change in region / country through deployment of priority programs and provide inputs in strategic change planning
Define the shape and structure in developing the program plan (which could be multi-country or cross-business / function);
review and refine resource requirements and engage with stakeholders to create buy-in for the plan
Actively manage and co-ordinate the program roadmap, handling changes as they arise and keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed change outcomes and benefits
Obtain buy-in from and influence senior management and stakeholders for all key program plans, commitments, changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, scope, risk mitigation and contingency plans
Oversee the tracking of strategic program risks / issues / dependencies, assess the impact on the benefits realization for the program and take action to minimize the impact
Provide key inputs in the delivery of highly complex and critical change efforts in accordance with existing industry best practices and methodologies in the process of establishing credibility for the Transformation team
Monitor and report on the program and intervene when programs go off track
Provide timely updates for the delivery to GBS Managing Director and all relevant stakeholders to review the performance against Transformation objectives and identify the future roadmap
Ensure all agreed costs, quality and delivery commitments to stakeholders by priority market teams are met
Evaluate the delivery quality of Transformation team using KPIs or surveys
Set the pace and operating rhythm, driving a culture of achievement and ensure pace by identifying and removing barriers to program success
Demonstrate financial acumen to develop a business case, including investments, detailed benefits and link to overall finances of the business
Ensure Transformation teams follow Business Transformation Frameworks and best practices thus driving a common high-performance approach
Capture key learnings from each Program and feed these back into Transformation Governance Methods & Tools to improve methodologies and share best practice
Ensure governance processes and decisions are applied consistently
Manage, measure and track change impacts as a result of the Program
Continuous Improvement Culture
Develop systems and execute strategies to implement a continuous improvement program and culture that delivers substantive productivity and / or profitability gains year over year
Lead advanced process improvement activities through the engagement of teams, subject matter experts, stakeholders and benchmarking
Utilize lean principles and systems thinking to identify complex interrelated processes that contribute to the success of an organization
Partner with the leadership team to identify the best countermeasures and combined solutions to address root causes
Provide expert advice and leadership in implementing action plans and development of sustainment / control plans for solutions
People Management
Lead the Business Engagement & Digital Transformation Program Management team with integrity, transparency and empathy
1 : 1s with ca. 7 FTEs, performance reviews, development and goal setting in addition to hiring and promoting career paths for individual team members
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Experience leading teams who have delivered business process transformation on a large, medium and small scale
Utilize change management principles & drive the change in the organization
Deep experience mentoring program and project managers including project management techniques, stakeholder engagement, project execution, business impact quantification, etc.
Deep understanding of relevant business processes and systems, with the ability to take a business capability-oriented view toward project execution
8+ years large scale project / program management experience
Experience in business capability models; understanding of how data flows and is consumed in enterprise workflows
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES
Higher university degree
Agile, Six Sigma and / or PMP certifications highly desired
