You'll be working with balance sheet analytics and MI to support our front office team
You'll also be supporting statutory disclosures and reporting with analytical review of the balance sheet
This is an opportunity to support our projects and continuous improvements initiatives
What you'll do
You’ll be the one who provides expert advice on financial, accounting and prudential matters.
This will involve :
Running daily and monthly controls of balance sheet statements for respective businesses, including reconciliation, analytical review and driver analysis
Building strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Constantly reviewing, challenging and developing balance sheet control methodologies and looking for automated solutions
The skills you'll need
You’ll be able to draw on your excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal, probably with an academic background in finance, banking or quantitative methods.
You'll pair this with :
Financial instruments accounting experience
Advanced Excel and MS Access knowledge
Experience with working on multiple, large volume data sources and databases
Strong communication skills and a client orientated outlook
It would also be an advantage to have :
SQL or VBA knowledge
A CFA, ACCA or CIMA accreditation, whether this is completed or in progress
