Senior Cybersecurity Engineer is an advanced technology professional providing expertise to assure the effective performance of one or more key components of the organization’s cybersecurity enterprise environments.

This role has global scope across all QRG locations and Brands, the role holder will be the subject matter expert for penetration testing, vulnerability management related risk identification and prioritization.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to : defining scope and cadence of global penetration testing, various forms of testing (infrastructure, application, web and mobile application, segmentation, PCI, social engineering), improving and enhancing team capabilities through the use of scripts, tools, or techniques, preparing, and sharing reports as well as prioritizing vulnerabilities and remediation based upon risk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer :
Provides 3rd level support and troubleshooting for issues escalated from more junior engineers on installed technical solutions.
Lead or participate in SWAT teams involving mission critical applications
Leads in the evaluation of new technologies relative to their domain(s) and makes strategic recommendation
Implements recommendations to ensure optimal performance and reliability for mission critical and global enterprise systems
Works independently to design environments of increasing complexity and scope.
Provides guidance to the Architecture TRM and Guardrails within the technical expertise

A Senior Cybersecurity Engineer should :
Expert in multiple facets of the technology platform, can independently evaluate and drive resolution of all problems in their core competencies
Possess thorough understanding of the current technology environment
Maintain and extend expertise in own domain while also developing knowledge of emerging technologies and other related technologies
Develop and drive standards for all layers of Cybersecurity (i.e. people, process, technology)
Leverage and partner with internal networks, share knowledge and expertise effectively with other team members across multiple teams within Technology organization to enhance capabilities
Support first and second level operational support, providing third level support for production systems when necessary
Lead technical design and execution of projects. Define project plans, provide estimates, identify key milestones, and raise critical project issues such as technical constraints or resource needs and propose alternative solutions
5+ years of related experience preferred
Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
One or more professional security and penetration testing certifications (OSCP, CREST, GIAC, GPEN / GXPN, CISSP, ISC2 and CEH are most preferred certifications)
Knowledge of information security standards and best practices
Good knowledge of associated compliance regulations
