You will be working in a team of highly talented Engineers, Data Scientists, QA and Product Owners. As a DevOps system engineer you will work on tasks varying from building processes for release, pipeline automation and configuration management to managing code.

You will work closely with software engineers to help them deploy their applications and systems. In addition, you will create best practice guidelines, build innovative, comprehensive tools and process to empower the development team.

You will be using a diverse set of technologies including CI / CD, git, Jenkins, automation (Airflow).

  • Assist the development teams with the creation of their CI / CD pipelines.
  • Ownership of all platform monitoring to mitigate risk and to optimise performance
  • Provide support for the troubleshooting of issues in dev / test / production environment.
  • Works with development teams to document application internal / external interface requirements for Development, Testing, Staging and Production environments
  • Assist the development team in automating the machine learning pipeline.
  • Proactively suggest recommendations to improve DevOps processes, tooling and solutions
  • Be an advocate for SRE and DevOps practices across the software engineering team
  • Works with development teams to ensure compliance with High Availability and Disaster Recovery related concept of operations.
  • Assists and takes part in training activities with development teams and ensures that DevOps provided processes / tools are effective.
  • Suggests enhancements on behalf of development teams as needed.

  • Maintain end-to-end security using industry best practices
  • 2+ years experience in DevOps / Automation.
  • Experience in relevant role i.e. SRE, DevOps, Platform.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT management, administration, applications and system development lifecycles within a substantial IT environment.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI / CD) using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with some or all of following technologies : Linux / Unix, Python, Scala, JavaScript , Golang, Elasticsearch, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Airflow
  • Relevant knowledge of current and emerging technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with both traditional and emerging system architectures (e.g. micro-services, etc.).
  • Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking applications.
  • Familiarity with Git or other code versioning system.
  • Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts easily.
  • An understanding of best DevOps practices.
