Your responsibilities will comprise but not exhaustively :
Be the key contact for the Mobility service for all customers of the Mobility & for GSK preferred Vendors, as well as for for HR & Reward Business Leads;
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders within the Region to advise on cross-geography moves;
Coordinate and deliver Reward activities (P&R, International Assignee, Letter of Assignments, Compensation Statements, International Assignee payrolls.) for VIP population;
Identify process improvement in the day to day operations;
Provide BI information to the business using data analytics to define and measure the ROI and management of the service, in partnership with Primary Partner;
Lead and manage major domestic site consolidations for large scale populations;
Develop and foster stakeholder relationships with colleagues in People services, HR Business Leaders and business leads in aligned geography in order to provide specialist support for cross regional mobility projects.
Advise HR and line management on available mobility options including individual package design based on core talent, reward, and process and governance guidance.
Tailored Mobility advice also ensures tax, payroll, social security and immigration compliance is maintained in order to minimize risk to GSK;
Take ownership of complex assignment arrangements, new country setup or adaptation of current process / policy to adhere to ad hoc changes in tax or immigration legislation in a particular jurisdiction in partnership with Global Tax and Tax / Immigration provider;
Own on-going education of HR, line management and current / potential mobile employees on Mobility policies and processes, potential compliance concerns, core Talent Management implications, considering the Mobility end-to-end proces;
Act as Voice of Customer by actively contributing to process and policy improvements through the participation at regular team meetings and ad hoc Mobility projects;
Partner with Global Long-Term Incentive Plan Programmes and Services in maintaining accurate data on Mobility Assignees to ensure Long-Term Incentives are granted appropriately;
Proactively and accurately manage all escalations including the governance of exceptions requested;
Partner with GSK preferred Vendors ensuring accurate and timely update of GSK employee data in GSK systems.
Detailed knowledge of assignments and their associated complexities including HR skills, Tax, Social Security, Immigration, Reward structures, Compliance;
Ability to source and keep updated with the constantly changing external environment to ensure the service is protecting GSK’s license to operate in the multi-cultural markets of the assignments;
University Degree, min. Bachelor s Degree with equivalent level of work experience or combination of formal certification / experience ;
Master s degree or MBA preferred;
Excellent problem solving skills to quickly diagnose issues and secure a corrective and preventative action;
3-5 years of experience in managing global mobility processes across multiple countries ( ideally gained in a large Corporation) ;
Able to deliver to deadlines and effectively manage multiple activities with conflicting timelines;
Experience coordinating efforts across multiple countries with direct exposure to specific regional requirements affecting project deliverables;
Fluent English in writing and speaking; any additional European language would be an asset;
In-depth experience and cultural understanding at a Local Operations level is highly beneficial;
Strong analytical capability and experience of applying processes and managing data;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to talk to employees, Senior Leadership groups, vendors in a clear and simple way;
High level of expertise in standard MS Office Software.
