Your main responsibilities as a Business Change and ImplementationAnalyst within a cross functional project team will be to specify thechanges required and to manage the implementation of these changes into theglobal operational environment.
Work on requirementsanalysis, specification and solution validation with analyst / s from IT Changeteam;
Undertake businessprocess reviews and re-engineering where required (identifying processes whichneed to change or to be eliminated);
Conduct operationalreadiness assessments, planning and implementation, ensure productionteams / operation environment is prepared to effectively support and accept thechanges resulting from the project i.
e. how close the Operations team is to thedesired readiness state in terms of :
Processes and Procedures
People skills and experience
Facilities (incl. Equipment)
On determination of gaps, plan and take action to fillthe gaps
Actively promote thechange initiatives within the organisation and conduct operational reviews postroll out to ensure accurate efficiency and risk gains;
Undertake UserAcceptance Testing (Functional Testing) which will involve - Test Case Preparation,Scripting and Execution;
Work with the TestManagement team on the longer term objective of moving from UAT to Automationand Acceptance testing (leveraging the BNP Paribas Testing Centre ofExcellence);
Support client fundevents, fund launches or new client onboarding as required;
Manage StakeholderCommunications e.g. with Clients and internal teams;
Participate and / orlead daily huddles and internal meetings as required;
Contribute to theCore Ops application development in line with the wider technology strategy(automation), and support in building prototypes to provide quick turnaroundresponse to the business needs / issues;
Liaise with leadengineers, business analysts, and other key stakeholders to understand theobjectives and requirements;
Support the designand development of software and applications on the agreed environments;
Write and performunit and integration tests withinautomated test environment to ensure code quality;
Ensuring thatsoftware and applications meets technical standards for all services output;
Ensure thatappropriate delivery will be done as per projects timelines;
Facilitate anddeliver continues improvement projects and provide support timely projectdelivery;
Performing review ofprocesses to find gaps and possible fields for further automation;
Creating added value : Prototypes; automated MI reports; Process maps; technical trainings; review ofexisting macros and codes written in known programming languages to adjust tonew requirements.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications :
Business related degree preferred;
5 or more years’ experience in Transfer Agency / Investor Services Operations preferable;
Knowledge of both hedge funds and mutual funds desirable;
Regulatory or AML experience an advantage;
Project experience and have been involved in managing / implementing change into Operations Teams;
Interpersonal skills and ability to work with business and technical teams;
Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical and problem solving skills;
Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility;
The ability to thrive in an innovative and agile working environment;
Experience and working knowledge of VBA, SQL;
Experience and working knowledge of VB.Net would be an asset;
Ability to learn new programming languages;
Good understanding of Data warehouse and Data bases;
Ability to work in SCRUM or other Agile work methodology;
