In Poland, we are a team that creates intelligent transport solutions for Riyadh. We are providing support for the entire Coradia Stream project ensuring security and convenience for carriers in the Netherlands and Italy.

FTM (CEE) / Head of FPM (Poland) :

Key accountabilities :

As FTM :

  • Participate in overall Tender Management process jointly with Tender Leader,
  • Main partner for the Financial Strategy of the tender, supporting the bid manager and the bid cost manager,
  • Business Partnering,
  • provide finance advise to the tender team,
  • ensure compliance of finance rules in tender preparation,
  • Analysis and support of overall finance topics of the tender,
  • Challenge and approve all Financials (cash, competitiveness, etc.) as per DoA (delegation from Region FTM / FPM) throughout tender process,
  • Liaise with other finance expert functions (e.g. Tax and Customs, Treasury and Financing, Global Performance, Internal Audit & Risk Management, Accounting and Finance efficiency, etc.),
  • Cooperate with other expert functions (e.g. Legal, Platforms, Operational Excellence, etc.),
  • Support Bid Manager (or Risk Manager) in risks and opportunities process and sign-off contingencies / committed savings,
  • Be informed about make or buy process,
  • Be informed about contractual scheme (consortium, JV...),
  • Contribute jointly with Legal and Tender Leader in negotiation processes to improve contract terms and conditions in relation to LDs and cash curve
  • As Head of FPM :

  • Monitor and forecast cash flows arising from the projects, setting control environment for the cash management within the unit in order to optimise cash flow,
  • Monitor and forecast revenue and gross margins arising from the projects, setting control environment for the revenue and margin management within the Unit (s),
  • Management of the Project / Work Package Controllers within the reporting Unit, including recruitment, skills, training, appraisal and allocation of resources,
  • Manage the Project / Work Package Controllers workflow including overseeing day to day work, providing them with support and being a mentor in order for them to complete their activities and to increase their competencies and performance,
  • Harmonize the way(s) and tools used to financially manage projects are followed in order to improve the effectiveness of project controlling (best practices),
  • Ensure the adequate establishment of the onshore projects in conjunction with the Head of Project Controlling - Business or Region / local reporting unit finance team,
  • Monitor all projects in execution and attending to ad-hoc issues relating to the projects for the reporting unit under own responsibility,
  • Provide necessary support to Project Directors on financial and commercial issues,
  • Assist on close out of projects and projects in warranty phase,
  • The role may also include being the nominated Lead Project Controller for a project,
  • Ensure monthly project reviews are undertaken at the local unit level,
  • Validate the financial presentations and results of the projects, including ensure that quarterly reconciliations are prepared to the general ledger for all projects under execution till project close out (either done by role or ensure activity is completed),
  • Ensure that the project controlling community provide all necessary information within the unit to the financial team in order to allow it to produce accurate business reporting,
  • Ensure that all risks will be timely reported to the CFD of the respective Cluster.
  • Required qualifications :

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in Long Term Project Controlling,
  • Business schools or engineering school,
  • An auditing and / or project operational background would be an advantage,
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize,
  • Team working,
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Fluent in other languages is a plus
