The remit of the Early Careers team is to grow and maintain J.P. Morgan’s profile and relationship within the school and college community, with students, faculty and parents.
Broadly the responsibilities fall into the following areas :
Developing a continual flow of students interested in careers with J.P. Morgan either in Financial Services or Technology.
This is done by a combination of :
Marketing direct to schools and students with a focus on various diversity initiatives
Marketing Via 3rd party internal and external distribution or online
Events in schools and on site within the UK
Work Experience programme (marketing, selection of participants and delivery)
Summer School (marketing, selection of participants and delivery)
Ownership of Apprenticeship programmes for J.P. Morgan from screening through to onboarding including review of HireVue video interviews and management of candidates within Taleo in partnership with chosen 3rd party training providers.
Programme Management :
Ongoing pastoral care of all on-programme apprentices, working with them, their managers and the training providers to ensure a top quality delivery and experience for the apprentices and the firm.
Data Management :
Tracking & MIS production and collation to ensure solid return on investment and strategic joined-up approaches are being used in all delivery.
As part of the Early Careers Team based in the Warsaw Corporate Centre (WCC) this role will involve working closely with UK colleagues to ensure that programmes are running smoothly, information is being used effectively, relationships are being developed fully and early careers strategy is being executed.
This will involve a blend of organisation skills, communication and time management. It will require developing a detailed knowledge of the UK Educational environment, with a focus on Apprenticeships which are a rapidly evolving area.
J.P. Morgan is seen as being at the very forefront of Early Careers work in the UK and continue to work with partners in education and the government to shape strategy.
We are also now looking at our Early Careers offerings across EMEA more broadly so the WCC-based team will likely have an opportunity to get involved in execution as well as planning in the future.
Other useful skills :
Excel the team does a significant amount of analysis so an ability to use Pivot & vlookup type functions to prepare and analyse data would be advantageous
Powerpoint the team uses presentations both internally to a very senior level internally and externally.
Sharepoint the team store most data files within secure SharePoint environments. Experience with this system would be useful.
Taleo / HireVue Any prior exposure to these systems would be advantageous but not essential.
The hiring manager for this job opening would be willing to have a conversation about flexibility. This could range from ad hoc flexibility in a full time position, to a more formal Flexible Work Arrangement.
