The Group Chief Information Security Risk Officer (CISRO) organisation is instrumental in protecting and ensuring the resilience of Standard Chartered Bank’s data and IT systems by managing information and cyber security (ICS) risk across the enterprise.
The Group CISRO is responsible for ICS governance, policy, risk framework and assessments, red teaming, industry partnerships, and regulatory engagement.
The Office of the CISRO is central to ensuring the Bank’s ability to meet its ICS commitments to internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, as well as maintaining an acceptable ICS risk profile that is regularly reported to the Board.
The Senior Information and Cyber Security (ICS) Analytics Manager is a permanent role that requires knowledge and experience in data management, analytics and information and cyber security risk.
This role reports directly to the Head of ICS Data Quality and Analytics in Poland.
The role is responsible for
Contribute to the implementation of Data Quality Management framework for ICS Risk
Reviewing the resolution of DQ related issues and escalate when necessary
Contribute to build data analytics capabilities in the team with the aim to enhance the efficiency of ICS risk monitoring and reporting
Support the team to design, develop, implement and document Data Quality controls for data used or provided by CISRO
Support the team to optimise the use of data in support of ICS risk monitoring
Monitor and review Data Quality related Issues
Design and develop dashboard capabilities to monitor DQ of ICS Risk CDEs
Establish relationships with ICS data owners to gain understanding of available resources, flow of information and ways in which information can be leveraged in the ICS risk reporting
Design, development, testing and documentation of programs to assist in population and scoping analysis, sampling, testing, and issue impact justification
Develop technical solutions and capabilities to manage ICS related data
Develop tools, scripts and solutions that can be leveraged by the group CISRO function
Develop automated scripts to monitor Data Quality of data used by CISRO
Contribute to the design and implementation of effective continuous monitoring and auditing strategies
Review and Monitor the resolution of DQ related issues, escalate when necessary
Design and implement the ICS analytics methodology and ensure that the deliverables meets the quality standards set out in the methodology.
Develop knowledge base of technical and operational controls for ICS Risk Reporting and ICS Risk Governance
Ensure that all activities are in line with and support of the ICS principal risk type under the Bank’s ERMF
ICS indicator analysis to proactively identify technical problem areas
Contribute to the establishment of technical expertise / knowledge base for operating control assessment
Ensure early identification and escalation of risks, issues, trends and developments to CISRO and relevant stakeholders.
Our Ideal Candidate
5 years of experience in data management or analytics
Demonstrated record of successful, high impact data management and analysis projects and outcomes
Experience in technology, information and cyber security, risk or business process analysis
Blend of analytical skills and process or control expertise
Sharp attention to detail and internal quality control
Understanding of financial service industry, experience in multinational banking environment is preferred
Background with creating queries and scripts for data analysis
Working knowledge of handling large dataset using SAS, SQL, R, Python or another similar langue
Ability to visualise data using BI software such as Tableau, PowerBI or Qlickview
Programmatic and solution-oriented mindset
Able to effectively present the findings with a clear, concise manner
Knowledge of statistics and its application to data
Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team and be a strong team player
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics) is preferred
Advanced degree in a quantitative field, computer science is preferred
Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvements
