The global Risk and ControlManagement function enables Group Operations Solutions to effectively manageand reduce technology risk exposure for the organization by building strategicpartnerships with business partners.
The team does this by : Collaborating amongall lines of defense (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and monitoring compliance enforcement;
Interpreting, challenging and building awareness around technology riskprocesses and controls compliance; Providing insightful risk and complianceanalytics to support problem identification, root cause diagnostics, and GOSdata capabilities.
The role forms part of theRisk Management team which delivers risk and control-related initiatives acrossa global organization as well as monitors and protects the organization fromunnecessary risks.
The role will interact with many groups external to thedirect organization including, Internal Audit, the Credit Suisse Compliance andPolicy team, Chief Information Security Office, Operational Risk Management andothers.
Main responsibilities of this role include :
Manage a team of 2 to deliver on metrics and reporting for the organization.
Deliver initiatives to identify, assess, understand and respond to risks and controls in the organization, in the areas of IT such as : Identity and Access Management, 3rd Party Vendor applications, emerging technologies, robotics, payments and others.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior members responsible for the technology, and ensure the organization understands & enhances their control environment.
Oversee and coordinate CISO activities for the organization including monitoring Penetration test progress and CISO risks.
Participate in initiatives which help with assessment and elimination of operational risks and the effectiveness of controls.
Provide support for risk assessment methodology, design and develop risk reports, and communicate the program to internal control owners and partners.
Facilitate special risk projects that contribute to the overall risk and control framework of the organization.
Advise on strategy and key initiatives as it relates to the risk and control organization.
Support the risk and control monitoring and reporting process by keeping senior management informed of the overall risk landscape progress, and items at risk.
8+ years’ experience in the financial, IT or risk and compliance industry with a good understanding of risk, control and regulatory programs.
Experience in handling or conducting technology / IT security audits, and evaluating technical risks.
Critical and strategic approach with the ability to use data to analyze trends, predict and fix problems before they happen.
Attention to detail with good organizational and data analysis skills.
Results-oriented with a proven track record in detailed data analysis and experience in project management.
Works well on a team and is able to collaborate and respond quickly and thoughtfully.
Outstanding written and verbal communication with fluency in English.
Proficient in MS Office package.
Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx) is desirable.
A degree in Computing, Information Systems, Management Information systems, software engineering or systems analysis is an advantage;
Certification in ITIL® or equivalent risk certifications (ARMP, CISA, CISM, ORM, etc) is also an advantage.
