The R&D HCP / HCO Monitoring and Reporting Team is responsible for the data collection, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of payments and other transfers of value to Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs).
The processes currently in place helps ensure that GSK can comply with all US Transparency, State, EFPIA, ROW reporting and internal requirements and are in alignment with GSK's values and expectations.
In this position you will be responsible for being an operational lead in a financial compliance reporting, a transparency reporting and reviewing invoices on a general ledger regarding the Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) standards.
Moreover, it is a chance to assisting a manager in managing a team of 3 people and dealing with 1st level of issues.
Your responsibilities :
Reporting to the HCP Payment Monitoring and Disclosure Manager, the purpose of the role is to :
Manage processes, for R&D, Biological and other GSK entities, to ensure compliance with internal policies / processes and external regulations of contracts with and payments to external experts, healthcare professionals and healthcare related organizations.
This includes but is not limited to processes for monitoring compliance of transactions with requirements related to :
Account / Cost center coding
Management and statutory reporting
Fair Market Value
Other compliance related requirements
Management and pastoral care of one HCP Monitoring and Disclosure Junior Analyst
Provide internal and external customer suppo rt as needed to facilitate the conduct of business. Arbitrate on a first line basis on compliance related issues and provide advice to support compliance related business decisions.
Coordinate efforts across internal and external areas of GSK by interacting with other areas within and outside GSK (Shared Financial Service, US Pharma, Biologicals, IT, Legal, GIA, external intermediaries such as CROs or Event Management Companies, ) in support of business transactions.
Ensure database of EE / HCP payments and supplemental information is up-to-date to meet all state reporting, regulatory and management reporting requirements.
Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness in internal and external reporting obligations.
Escalate non-compliance issues according to GSK policies and SOPs.
Identify, recommend and assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives designed to simplify processes in support of contracting, payment and reporting of work with external experts and healthcare related organizations.
Being an operational lead and ensure that that team follow the process and KPI’s are achieved timely.
Assisting a manager in managing a team of 3 people and dealing with 1st level of issues and escalations.
Basic Qualifications :
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :
Finance / accounting degree or degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or applied science required
5-8 years of experience of relevant analytics experience
General understand of accounting principle / transaction is required to properly trace GL transaction and supporting detail to evaluate HCP / HCO reporting requirements.
Required to demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of general ledger transaction process and the applicable HCP / HCO reporting requirements
Prior experience with Pharma industry, SAP (CERPS) and database skills preferred
In depth understanding of HCP / HCP Transparency reporting guidelines and regulations along with accounting and finance principle and systems with strong analytical skills and attention to detail is required to perform the position.
Strong computer skills and a solid working knowledge of financial applications and software designed for data analysis and reporting.
Process and detail oriented with understanding of the big picture
Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
Fluent English (minimum C1)
