As part of our ongoing growth here at Smart, we are now looking to hire an IT Support Engineer to help set up and maintain our Polish offices As part of Poland based Smart IT team, you will provide both local front-line support for the Krakow operations and assist with the remote support of the rest of world.
Install, configure and support IT equipment, software, and networks.
Assist in setting up new users, systems, and software.
Follow all security and IT service management processes and procedures.
Continually assess all users IT needs and requirements and ensure that equipment is fit for purpose and complies with Health and Safety at work laws.
Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and administration on end-user devices, cloud platforms, and software services.
Develop, maintain and support systems including monitoring, patches, and incident response management.
Communicate effectively with end-users and the UK based IT support and service management team.

Either a degree or qualifications related to IT or Computer Science are preferred.
Experience of working within an ISMS (ISO27001), and awareness of GDPR regulations - beneficial.
Experience of supporting MacOS.
Experience of GSuite and AWS - beneficial.
Experience of technical IT Project deployments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal Communication is a must, you will be dealing with people at all times.
Problem Solving, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Teamwork and Attention to detail, are all required.
Comfortable working under pressure.
Able to define actions, set targets and achieve goals.
Must speak Polish and English
