The FREE NOW Group is the multi service mobility joint venture from Daimler and BMW. It consists of the services FREE NOW (9 European markets), Βeat (5 Latin American markets and 1 European market), Kapten (3 European markets) and hive (3 European markets).

Summed up, those services currently attract 41 million users in 17 markets and more than 150 cities. This makes the FREE NOW Group the biggest ride hailing provider in Europe and the fastest-growing in Latin America.

In total, more than 2,200 employees in around 35 offices work for the services of the FREE NOW Group, which is led by CEO Marc Berg.

We are looking for an ambitious and talented Head of Operations to join the FREE NOW team. Are you a natural leader with great communication skills?

As Head of Operations your role will be to support the fast growth of FREE NOW in Poland via managing various projects such as the release of new products .

This role will also oversee the FREE NOW driver services and customer care functions in Poland. You will become a part of the global FREE NOW Operations team, reporting directly to the General Manager.

These are your responsibilities :

  • Overview of all country operations and ensure operational excellence
  • Responsible for project management and ensuring operational excellence
  • Providing operational leadership towards growing the FREE NOW business.
  • Translate strategic vision and entrepreneurial energy into operational reality.
  • Manage a driver and customer support function that strives to provide exceptionally responsive and personalised support experiences.
  • Lead continuous improvement and other initiatives to aggressively evolve and innovate business processes.
  • Manage FREE NOW Driver Team on driver outreach, acquisition, engagement and support.
  • Distill, synthesise and prioritize feedback and ideas to improve the FREE NOW product.
  • Represent operational needs and opportunities in managing the business to KPIs, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Facilitate sharing of operational best practices across FREE NOW markets, in Poland and Europe.
  • These are your skills :

  • Ideally has 5-7 years practical work experience in Consulting and / or managerial level in Operations, Service Delivery or Business Development.
  • Have excellent face-to-face communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of tech business and mobile applications
  • High level of commitment and flexibility
  • Excellent structured problem solving and analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to generate operational insights
  • Strong professional experience within operations / customer centric environment, including leading a team
  • Self-motivated and strong desire for new challenges within a start-up type of company
  • Enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent soft skills : high EQ, collaboration and team leadership ability
  • Fluent in Polish and English
