THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Global Process Owner ( GPO ) Procure-to-Pay ( P2P ) to join our Finance Team. The GPO for P2P is accountable for maintaining a robust and scalable process that satisfies the requirements of the business and supports the Finance and operational vision and objectives.

The GPO will actively be gathering and applying external best practices, proposing and implementing improvements whilst adhering to the governance process by ensuring appropriate stakeholders and decision makers are part of the design to implementation process.

Reporting to the Director Shared Service Centre, your first priority will be to evaluate, design and implement the to-be Wella P2P end-to-end process globally.

You will then be responsible for the successful transition between the existing Coty SSC, that supports currently Wella for the upcoming 12 months, and the future Wella SSC to be built from scratch.

Finally, as GPO for P2P, you will drive further process standardization and improvement, set the strategy (along with other GPOs) and performance objectives for the P2P process.

It is a unique opportunity to shape an end-to-end process from the very start, leverage technology and deliver superb results in the medium term.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and lead end-to-end P2P transformation, along other GPOs and external advisors, to support the company vision and expectations;
  • Design global standard models based on company ways of working and best practices (benchmarked) and implement based on P2P transformation vision;
  • Optimize and standardize existing processes, establish clear criteria and guidelines at all stages, map exceptions, gaps and retrofit to allow appropriate standardization level;
  • Design and implement relevant SLAs and KPIs to monitor process efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Support the transition and own the processes moved from the Coty SSC to the Wella new SSC;
  • Once the Wella SSC is in place, manage local P2P dedicated personnel (Wella and outsourced);
  • In coordination with other functions, govern P2P process changes, including supporting systems :
  • Implement key automation tools with the business and IT;
  • Drive continuous process improvement and innovation, by acquiring insight into current best practices;
  • Be the owner of process maps and SOPs (standard operating procedures).
  • Essential :

  • A Bachelor s degree in Finance / Accounting, or related subject;
  • Management experience in a BPO / SSC / GBS;
  • Experience in the Procure-to-Pay function, in multinational commercial organizations and ideally transformational environment;
  • Hands-on experience and good mastery of lean and standardization concepts and tools;
  • Working knowledge of SAP (process, master data, key transaction flows);
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented and results-driven;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and organize, ensuring all tasks are completed in a time-efficient manner;
  • Ability to work across cultures with all levels of organization as well as with different functions;
  • Attention to detail whilst able to step back from operational process to address strategic challenges;
  • Strong work ethics and personal integrity;
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, including Visio;
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis to the SSC location(s).
  • Desirable :

  • Project management experience, ideally implementing new P2P tools and systems;
  • Working knowledge of any of the following languages would be a plus : French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian.
