We are looking for an (Associate) Manager Software Engineering with experience and ambition in building, leading and motivating highly performing and cross-functional engineering teams within an agile environment.

The product engineering organization you will join consists of + engineers in + teams in 4 European locations. This is a challenging engineering management position with potential for professional growth and international opportunities.

Here is a little taste of your challenge :

Manage one or more engineering teams (depending on your previous experience and appetite);

Ensure your team(s) have top of the class processes, receive the necessary inputs to grow and keep adding higher value to the organization;

Shape the organization you are part of, innovate on processes used;

Working with the product management team and ensure product strategies and roadmaps make sense for the company as whole;

Negotiating with external suppliers / partners on projects and deliverables;

Establishing and applying guidelines and processes in close collaboration with all stakeholders.

Who are you?

Previous engineering management experience, preferably with an agile methods toolbox and modern management methodologies;

Very good personal leadership capabilities;

Strong self-reflection and understanding of the fact that better is the enemy of good ;

Experience and ability to coach, provide feedback as well as to empower teams;

Business acumen and know-how in creating and realizing strategies;

Excellent communication skills in English and ideally in Polish (or German or Spanish);

An university degree in a relevant field would be great, self-starters are welcome to apply.
