Roles & Responsibilities
As a key member of the Global Virtual Sales Operations team, you will make a difference by :
Enabling the best possible decision making, maximizing sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Solving challenging problems across the spectrum of sales processes and sales operations through reporting and data analysis
Leading the analysis and utilization of a diverse and expanding data ecosystem, in sales, operations, marketing and planning.
Collaborating with other data insights groups, IT and business intelligence units, to connect Global Virtual Sales to the data that makes a difference.
Helping shape the business intelligence capabilities of the future for virtual selling at Cisco.
Minimum Qualifications (minimum requirements)
5 years’ experience in an applied analytic role, involving diverse data sets and the provision of reporting. Proven ability to Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in complex data sets
Accuracy and attention to detail. High intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new concepts
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with ETL tools (Alteryx, Knime, Tableau Prep )
Experienced intermediate user of data visualization software (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Domo, etc.)
Fluent English, with exemplary verbal, written and presentation skills
Bachelor degree in science, IT, or mathematics field. Alternatively, a social science / business field.
Desired Skills (good to have)
A differentiated candidate will also possess :
Programming languages skills, such as SQL, VBA and Python
Intermediate user of salesforce.com data and reporting functionality.
Experience with matrix management and comfort with high levels of autonomy, ambiguity, and a fast paced work environment.
3-5 years’ experience and working knowledge of key sales operations activities : territory planning / definition, compensation design, sales crediting, sales segmentation & hierarchies, etc.
