    WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

    The Payments Specialist role is responsible for ensuring supplier payments are completed accurately and on time for our global business.

    You will oversee the preparation and approval of weekly payment runs for the group’s entities all over the world in multiple currencies.

    You will prepare a weekly cash requirement for the head office, advising on all high-value payments that are expected to be made within each accounting period.

    In this role, you will work closely with other accounting teams based in Poland and key business contacts in business entities across the world, handling complex queries and urgent business payment requirements.

    You will maintain regular contact with our global banks to resolve any issues. You will also be expected to reconcile the payment process and co-

    operate with the cash management team. As a Payment Specialist you will play a key role in projects to improve the efficiency of payment processes.

    HERE’S YOUR ROLE BROKEN DOWN (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)

  • Preparing payment weekly cash requirement
  • Overseeing preparation of weekly payment run
  • Management of all bank approvals
  • Investigation of incomplete and failed payments
  • Development of payment policies and procedures
  • Preparing ad hoc payment-related reports
  • DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

  • Experience in payments and / or accounts payable
  • Accurate with strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills deadline focused with ability to prioritise tasks
  • Knowledge of MS Office(particularly MS Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent English as a must)
  • IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD THESE DESIRABLES TOO

  • Knowledge of Oracle finance system (or equivalent)
  • Desire for continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work in an international environment
