Scope of position
This role develops, industrialize and implement new high capability manufacturing assembly processes for shock absorber parts.
The role requires a broad technology set integrating engineering and operations technology skills as well as very strong communications skills to develop and deploy state of the art assembly equipment.
Expert in equipment development, industrialization and implementation.
Working knowledge of pFMEA, control plans and process flow charts.
Strong understanding of tooling, equipment building and automation principles & techniques.
Strong understanding of PLCs.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

Education and work background
Master of Electromechanical Engineering Technology Engineering.
Project management experience is required.
Actively involved in development of automatic assembly machines.
Minimum of 5 years manufacturing engineering work experience preferably in automotive sector.
Spoken & written English is mandatory.
Other skills / abilities :
Proficiency with PC applications including spreadsheets, word processors, databases, presentation and flow charting software.
Ability to make effective presentations to a wide variety of audiences including senior managers, customers and employee groups.
Comfortable and effective in working across various groups that vary from fundamentally technical to non-technical.
Time Management : demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to travel in support of job function (plants, customers, suppliers etc.).
