You will be accountable for service delivery, compliance, audit of the managed services contract. They will be the primary point of contact to the vendors for and to senior management with regard to compliance for the delivery of the contracted services.
They will be required to work in close collaboration with the operational team and the commercial management to ensure that all aspects of the contract fit together in a consistent manner and satisfy business requirements and other objectives of the bank during the contract lifecycle.
To be successful, the GFM Vendor Manager should have close relationships with the function, develop strong vendor relationships, maintain strong relationships with our internal Subject Matter Experts, ensure contract commitments are aligned and delivered as well as administer and handle contractual modifications, as required.
Manage external vendor relations
Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders
Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees
Ensure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished
Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance
Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required
Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions
Support the on-going evolution of the GFM model and standardisation of GFM contracts, processes etc.
Manage and support contract governance including contract administration both internally and externally, including minute taking and action tracking
Support and participate in standardized governance meetings and enhance core competencies and strategies related to invoice review and validation, change control, etc.
Collaborate and work closely with regional / global business owners and operations teams to ensure that the right scope of services are defined with the appropriate corresponding service level requirements
Ensure that the handled service agreements are updated as necessary to reflect current business needs (e.g. updates to service levels, in-scope services, etc.)
Review and analyse the monthly reporting and ensure and modify strategy / agreement as may be required
Drive both internal and supplier teams to deliver continuous process improvements
Ensure that the contract is in line with the banks business, legal, compliance and financial guidelines
Develop and maintain audit process to ensure service providers are follows the contract and that underlying information is accurate and reliable
Open to discussing flexible / agile working.
Proficient background in facilities ran services lifecycle and governance with a minimum of 5 years industry experience
Experience in global, regional or cross-Global facility management (ex-multi-national / multi-national FM provider, consulting or large occupier company)
Knowledge of FM performance, processes, systems, and financial management (planning, budgeting, reporting). Accounting and Audit experience desirable
History supporting multinational transactions
Working knowledge of developing and interpreting English Language contracts
Ability to take control and lead efforts when there are multiple divergent partners involved in a program who each have different desired outcomes
Ability to work successfully with a large, diverse and demanding set of clients and to collaborate and partner as a teammate across multiple functional areas
Critical thinking - with strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to develop and implement global concepts and consider downstream impacts
Strong communication skills, evidenced by an ability to write and speak clearly, concisely, and convincingly
A strong English speaker is critical with other language skills an advantage
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
Proven work experience related to the commercial side of managed service agreements
Proven work experience in Facilities managed service agreement
Some experience supporting a bank or financial services institution desirable
