Join our international team in Telekom IT responsible for innovative IT projects within the areas of HR, Multicustomer and Internal Control Systems.

We have the daily passion to consult our customers at its best - curiously considering newest market trends and permanently focusing on improving the digital end user experience.

Your role

As Senior IT PMO Manager in HR Projects you will provide leadership, guidance and innovation to the day-to-day running of the PMO function within the Program and projects.

In detail you take responsibility for the following tasks :

  • Budget planning and monthly actual / forecast reporting on Program and project level.
  • Running a resource management process across the Program and Projects group to fulfil all new work items, highlight resource conflicts and initiate corrective actions.
  • Preparation of status reporting to the Program Management.
  • Monitor progress, responsibility for and controlling of assigned budget including Risk Management.
  • Communication with various stakeholders.
  • Monitoring headcount and contractor spend and ensure expenditure is within agreed budget limits.
  • Provide project support to a number of project managers to ensure they follow the designated methodology and best practice where appropriate and in line.
  • Management of escalations.
  • Issues / risk management and various administrative support related to Program Management.
  • Your profile

  • You hold a university master’s degree or comparable job experience, ideally in economics, computer science or business engineering and have several years of experience in IT.
  • At least 4-5 years proven management of Project Management Office.
  • Capable of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with members of the Program management team, managers, project managers, project teams and external service providers.
  • Clear knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, data analysis and reporting.
  • Intercultural experience with the ability to drive cross-functional, international work teams toward task completion.
  • Ability to manage escalations professionally.
  • Experience in management of product vendors and implementation partners.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
