Role & responsibilities

Data Scientist is responsible to provide intelligence and insights from Consumer data available, primarily from Digital Marketing and CRM systems, Digital analytics and other sources at hand.

He or she will support business by providing them accurate data, insights, trends and ad hoc analysis to support data-driven decision making.

This will be done through analyzing existing data, but also through building custom models to perform predictive analysis / attribution model.

Support Business functions in leveraging data and guide their use of Data to build their own insights about their interaction with Nestlé customers / consumers.

Your responsibilities will be :

  • Understanding the business questions and challenges across Nestlé
  • Explore and clean the data to prepare for analysis
  • Identification & implementation of segmentation of users based on collected data coming from DoubleClick (ex. ranking of segments per division as an example the best segments to generate newsletter subscription / led generation )
  • Identify potential data sources to build segments
  • Simplify and translate the results of the analysis back to the business stakeholders
  • Ongoing reporting data collection changes, results on a regular basis and recommendations for new segments and segments’ changes
  • Quarterly cross-divisional conclusions for Business Units (Divisions)
  • Co-operation with Media (& Creative / Digital) Agency
  • Support in linking and configuration of all accounts such as : Adwords, YouTube, DCM, DBM, GA360 in DoubleClick environment
  • Verification of set up & technical supervision of DMP for Business Units (Divisions)
  • Key experiences

  • 2+ years’ Experience, desired Media ( / Digital) Agency based
  • Higher education
  • English, Polish fluent
  • Experience in data analysis / data modeling namely :
  • Campaign analysis / Attribution modelling
  • Segmentation (clustering) / Classification
  • Customer Lifetime Value analysis
  • Experience with the DoubleClick environment : Adwords, YouTube, DCM, DBM, GA360
  • Experience with data cleanup, data aggregation and data analysis
  • Experience to turn analysis into readily accessible insight to be reported in an easy to understand way
  • Interpersonal competences

  • Ability to both analytical & synthetically thinking / problems solving
  • Ability to explain complex / sophisticated terminologies, issues with plain simple language for other departments
  • Good Project Management skills regularity, meticulousness and timely
  • Pro-activity and continuous improvement mindset
