Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

act as a change leader who will help Philips to win through merging LEAN thinking and mindset with strong analytical background and interest in IT.

As LEAN Specialist you will play an instrumental role in any Philips project. You will get the opportunity to support and manage small to medium size local projects and participate in larger programs as a valuable team member.

In addition to that you will co create the LEAN mindset in Central and Eastern Europe organization closely working with our LEAN Champion and Continuous Improvement Lead.

This will give you a perfect opportunity to develop as a trainer, coach, public speaker and finally internal consultant helping various business units to solve problems through applying best in class LEAN methodologies and tools.

You are responsible for

  • Responsible for making sure that the solutions (which you will also be shaping) meet the End2End business needs; also be ready for future enhancements and adding new features and functionalities forming an integrated and simple to maintain architecture;
  • Once the project is complete you will also train Key Users and pass the systemic knowledge to the business stakeholders;
  • Will ensure that a proper validation and correction is done before the solution is passed over to the end user for UAT -
  • this will in turn translate to a balanced and respectful cooperation with the business partners showing our (IT Department) professionalism and precision;
  • Plan and execute LEAN trainings in CEE on various methodologies which we will coach you to make sure you have the right knowledge at hand
  • Lead workshops and boot camps aimed at solving specific problems helping our company win
  • To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis with business and IT acumen
  • Previous exposure or certification in LEAN will be an advantage
  • Can do" attitude and desire to learn and live LEAN methodologies and promote continuous improvement mindset, helping people to go through their change curve

  • Independence, self-motivation and honesty
  • Ability to translate unstructured information gathered from users into well-defined specifications
  • Logical thinking driven by data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent communication skills, desire to become a coach to stakeholders in various levels, including leadership
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
