Based in our EMEA Shared Service Center (SSC) in Warsaw, you will be general manager of the Warsaw SSC office, with full P&L accountability .

In that capacity, you will manage and expand to full potential the delivery of shared support services to all Bain offices within the EMEA region, establishing service-

level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining a multi-million euro budget. The role builds upon core service areas (Finance Operations, Human Capital Operations, Executive / Manager Assistants) and supports capabilities managed within other global and regional support departments in Graphics, Tools Support, Dashboarding and Consulting support (BCN).


In addition to the general management aspects of running a sizable operation, you will focus on driving innovation in the workforce and leading our industry in the application of technology , including Robotics Process Automation (RPA), office-

of-the-future creation, and process improvement.

You are a people leader and change agent . Motivating, mentoring, and retaining SSC staff is paramount to the success of the office.

You are an on-the-ground advisor to the Global Shared Service Director, and Regional CFO, to deliver economic value to Bain through materialization of operational excellence and operating cost savings, based on economies of scale and, for some locations, salary arbitrage.

Day to day, as the Senior Manager for our EMEA SSC, you will lead the office management team responsible for core operations delivery , as well as the office support teams.

Skilled at matrix management and influencing skills, you will co-lead local Finance and Human Capital support alongside EMEA Finance and Global HR functions.

  • You will work with firm leaders to expand capabilities in other teams, including Graphics; the Advanced Analytics Group (AAG);
  • the Technical Services Group (TSG); Global HR and Human Capital; Information Services; Product, Practice, Knowledge (PPK);
  • and the Bain Capability Network (BCN).


  • 8+ years of experience and a track record managing teams of employees, preferably in a professional services context
  • 5+ years managerial experience in a multinational environment
  • Business management experience
  • Fluency in English at C2 level (or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English)
  • Desired

  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Coaching proficiency
  • Proficiency in other European languages
  • Large-scale transformation / change-management experience
