Preferred Qualifications

The EMEAProfessional Services group within the Oracle Hospitality Global Business Unit (HGBU)is seeking a Professional Services Development Specialist to join our team.

The idealcandidate will have deep knowledge of PL/SQL. Ideally you are also familiar with the Hospitality Industry andhave worked with Oracle Hospitality OPERA Version 5 or OPERA Cloud.


·Analyzerequests for customized solutions such as new reports, forms, views and exports

·CreateScope of Work for customized solutions

·Responsiblefor creating customized solutions based on scope of work

·Submittimely and accurate project status

·Workclosely with internal teams and customers to ensure that projects can besuccessfully closed as contracted

·Assistwith the implementation of customized solutions for customers


·Fluent inspoken and written English

·Familiarwith PL/SQL

·OracleReport Builder Knowledge

·Oracle FormsBuilder Knowledge

·Occasionaltravel if needed

·Goodinterpersonal and teamwork skills

·Familiarwith PCI / PA-DSS requirements

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

You will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
