Senior Specialist Process & Solutions
Global Fuels operates the fuel supply chain in Circle K from refinery to station. The main purpose is to deliver fuel products to stations and customers at the most competitive cost and with a high service level.
Operational Excellence is part of the Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) Department in Global Fuels. The operational excellence team enables Global fuels in achieving its objective of having a Lean fuel supply chain.
We do this through project management, process excellence including sales & operational planning, competency development and continuous improvement.
We are now adding a new role called Senior Specialist Process & Solutions to the high performing operational excellence team.
There are 5 members in the team.
Workplace is Scandinavia or Riga. Some travel activities should be expected.
The process and solution advisor will drive the business to continually improve. The role will actively drive for opportunities to improve / simplify the way we work.
This role will be the bridge between IT and global fuels processes
Challenge existing ways of working to simplify how we work
Identify improvements possibilities together with the business
Be a solution advisor to the business
Drive collaboration towards the business and root cause analysis of potential issues
Translate the business need into process / systems requirements
Business case development for improvement work
Plan and realize improvement initiatives
Understand the full supply chain and can see and coordinate initiatives across
Participate in projects (when applicable)
Run projects (when applicable)
Implementation of changes in requirements / legislation / new technologies in our systems and processes

Master’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management (SCM) however Experience within relevant work can compensate for lack of formal education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate to technical and nontechnical audiences
Proven experience in process definition and implementation, as well as in change management
Proven ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organization
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment
Deep understanding of technology enablement and current technology tools
Understanding of the fuel supply chain process is an advantage.
Knowledge of the systems used in our fuel supply chain is an advantage (eg. JDE, Symphony, Accella etc)
