The IT specialist supports all users in any kind of requests related to IT systems. He / She is in charge for installation and configuration of new hardware and software within the corporate guidelines.
Primary Responsibility :
ensure the highest levels of user service with a keen focus on helping people resolve issues and problems as the first point of contact at the Help Desk,
troubleshoot, or escalate issues as appropriate, in a timely manner while communicating clearly and proactively throughout the customer's experience until resolved,
provide support for Windows desktops, printers and mobile devices as well as application system environments locally at the Help Desk or remotely if needed,
instructs computer system users in the use of computer equipment and of computer applications; answers questions and assists in resolving problems regarding the methods and procedures for using computer applications,
installation of new hardware / software; installs, tests, and monitors the operation of computer hardware and software;
configures hardware and software to meet needs,
do permission management in Microsoft Active Directory,
helping managing server infrastructure (Microsoft Windows servers, HP storage, VMware),
manage Microsoft SQL databases.
Required Skills :
BS degree in computer science,
experience in IT support,
hands on experience with Windows System Administration and in Microsoft Office,
experience in Active Directory permission management and management of Microsoft SQL databases (including basic scripting knowledge),
experience creating system documentation,
excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills,
excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish,
good verbal and written communication skills in English.
