The role sits within IT GCTO End User Services in the Cognitive and Digital Services department. The CDS team Platform Technology’ is building a top to bottom IT capability in support of Automation and Artificial Intelligence services, including Amelia automated helpdesk, Anywhere365 call centre and the Workspace Support Portal.

The role is for an Operations Support Specialist providing production and UAT support to current / future solutions / services in the CDS department. Specifically :

  • Amelia Automated cognitive helpdesk service
  • Anywhere365 Service Desk call centre application
  • Workspace Support Portal - Platform to enable automated desktop support activities
  • Verint Workforce Management application
  • Verint Voice recording application
  • MyITHelp Online solutions library
  • Webex Online meeting / conferencing system
  • The role will entail :

  • Providing day-to-day support for the production and UAT environments.
  • Performing production releases as required.
  • Investigating, debugging and resolving reported issues.
  • Liaising with Platform Technlogy’ engineers and developers to assure a stable and reliable service.
  • Assuming joint ownership of solutions / services in the spirit of DevOps.

  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure methodologies / disciplines (change control, release management, development process, Agile / DevOps, ITIL, Resiliency / DR, capacity management, performance management).
  • Experience of working in supporting / developing automation solutions.
