The Global Architecture and Technology Services IT organization is at the forefront of emerging technologies and new business models.

Our team is focused on delivering architecture-led services, including software development and the life cycle of Cisco’s products and solutions.

We play a key role in how Cisco’s digitization strategy comes to life and improving the end to end experience of Cisco customers.

Our goal is to elevate client experience by delivering outcomes at the speed of business!

As part of our growth strategy we are building a new team in Krakow and searching for an excellent leader who can help with this exciting project.

You will be leading a team of 9 engineers, hiring and training new joiners, and mentoring junior team members.

What You’ll Do

Technical Development and Delivery :

  • Responsible for collaboration and communication with various teams as needed
  • Strong partnership with solutions teams, able to execute and provide transparency on issues and challenges
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and train new technical support / IT staff
  • Provide guidance and insight to upper management and procure buy-in
  • Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production
  • Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor progress of projects
  • Oversee user testing and report results assures alignment to requirements
  • Work closely with project manager during all phases of development lifecycle
  • Understand and supports both waterfall and agile delivery methodology
  • Communicates and enforces coding standards
  • Performs code reviews and mentors junior developers.
  • Possesses demonstrated work experience with some of these :
  • Java, Angular JS, Node JS, Jquery, UXdesign and CSS, Oracle, Python, Hana, Hadoop, Mongo DB ect.
  • Communication :

  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
  • Holds regular status meetings with development team.
  • Keeps development team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
  • Resolves and / or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
