Tasks :

  • Plan activities and manage customers allocated to maximize order opportunities and expand customer base;
  • Participates in sales strategy discussions for assigned area, agrees short and long term goals and negotiates the Product Group sales budget;
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships;
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed;
  • Prepare offers in collaboration with engineering department and other factory structures;
  • The participation in technical and commercial negotiations with customers with regards to price levels, and delivery times etc.;
  • Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of prepared offers, including prices and trading conditions;
  • Takes ownership of specific customer cases to ensure efficient customer issue resolution. Responsible for analyzing lost proposals to increase future competitiveness
  • Plan and prepare sales presentations and other sales promotion activities, including attendance or participation when required;
  • Attend training courses, demonstrations and seminars as required to keep abreast of new product developments;
  • Ensure the daily operation to comply with company’s internal guideline.
  • Requirements :

  • Experience in a sales or business development position in rolling stock market;
  • Higher technical education;
  • Proven sales ability and determination to deliver results;
  • Good and up-to-date knowledge of the local traction market;
  • Communication and analytical skills;
  • Good knowledge of English allows for easy communication in an international environment;
  • Ease of learning and a desire to continuously expand knowledge;
  • Customer focus and objectives;
  • Negotiation skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player with intercultural competence;
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 50 %).
