Derivatives Utility Vice President

We are looking for an ambitious manager, eager to join our Derivative Clearing group and strengthen our Operations leadership team.

The successful candidate will be exposed to Exchange Traded Listed and OTC derivatives products, which are handled throughout diverse processes on a daily basis.

The core responsibilities of the team include : trades acceptance and allocation, performance of trade closeouts, regulatory reporting.

This role gives an opportunity of day-to-day cooperation with external parties including : trading desks, middle offices, client relation teams, exchanges, brokers and institutional clients.

An individual will be equipped with all the necessary tools and information to coordinate daily work of the group.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Managing the Derivatives Clearing function of around 15 staff
  • Implementing operating model regionally in accordance with the global strategy
  • Supporting service model for key business partners including Front Office and Clients
  • Close cooperation with Clearing teams and Management across the regional offices
  • Creating operational efficiencies - identify both tactical and strategic opportunities to increase scale or mitigate risk within the business
  • Contributing to firm wide initiatives such as hiring, developing and retaining a high performing diverse team
  • Objective setting and talent development of team members.
  • Teams coverage hours 8 am - 9 pm CET

    You offer :

  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Operations role
  • Strong leadership skills, proven by experience in managing medium to large team
  • Good knowledge of derivatives instruments
  • Experience gained with working in a multinational company or outsourced managed service provider.
  • Previous experience in direct client engagement and managing against Service Level Agreements
  • Proficiency in Polish and English (both verbally and in writing)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interest in career in a fast-paced Clearing team within Derivatives Utility group
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-sufficiency, good time management and proactive way of working
