An opportunity has arisen for you to join Credit Suisse as a Microsoft Lync & Unified Communications Services Systems Administrator.

You act as a key technical resources for the EMEA region helping to support and enhance clients services and capabilities.

This role provides support for Microsoft Lync / Skype for Business, Enterprise Voice communication and integration, Compliance Voice Recording and Application Integration services.

Real Time Communication Services is part of Collaboration Services Department, which delivers IT services to the bank including email, real time communication, video conferencing, document management and retention services.

You will be responsible for a growing variety of duties and responsibilities :

  • Supporting the operational, projects and integration support area for Microsoft Lync and Unified Communications services applications platform for the Bank in the EMEA region.
  • Providing Level 2 / Level 3 support for applications and systems in scope. Driving and resolving incidents with working knowledge, partnership and interaction with other teams, suppliers and vendors.
  • Implementing and operational support for Lync / Skype for Business integration with : Microsoft Exchange, Video Conferencing and Enterprise Voice PBX integration.
  • Administrating and management of Anywhere365 environment.
  • Monitoring and proactive management of environmental health for applications / platforms in scope : network, SQL, architecture components and desktop clients.
  • Supporting processes of change, capacity, performance and service quality management for Real Time Voice Communication.
  • You will be a part of global, diverse team that delivers critical services to the Bank, with growth and development opportunities.

    You Offer

    You should have the following experience and skills :

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of overall IT and infrastructure experience.
  • You have very good technical background of Microsoft Systems technologies and / or voice communication services. Experience with deploying, configuring and supporting Microsoft products.
  • You should have a contagious enthusiasm fueled by a desire to be best in class. Client focused and biased in pursuit of goals and objectives with understanding of IT risk and change control management for the system supported in the Bank.
  • You have a desire to continually develop new skills and capabilities, and be part of an important global team that is responsible for all Collaboration Services.
  • Desired skills :

  • Systems / technology certifications are very desirable.
  • You possess understanding of Voice and VoIP technologies (SBC, PBX, Survivable Branch Appliances).
  • Your knowledge of Anywhere365, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DNS, Routing, Firewall, Proxies, Network Segmentation, Load Balancing, Quality of Service and other network / security technologies is on a very high level.
  • It would be seen as a plus if you possessed experience in management of Lync 2010 / Lync 2013 / Skype for business infrastructure in any of the below areas :
  • core Lync infrastructure including edge systems, federation, integrations with various application systems, Lync video conferencing, desktop and mobile clients.
  • user access management and / or security configuration in the Lync environment.
  • support configuration of backup, HA and DR configuration for the environment.
  • maintenance and support for third party voice and content Compliance Recording tools (e.g. Verbal).
  • configuration of tools for : availability, capacity and performance monitoring, integration with voice telephony platforms
