Our client is a renowned international organisation with morethan 30 years of experience in PU technologies. High-quality products, fullyautomated production and the company’s environmental commitment, havepositioned them as a market leader in the manufacture of laminating adhesivesystems.
Due to continued growth the company is now looking to recruit aresult oriented for Eastern Europe to develop new businessopportunities, as well as to support existing customers in the assigned area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales manager with a passionfor developing new markets. Reporting to the European Commercial Director, thisrole requires a responsible independent individual with passion for sales.
Main responsibilities :
Plan, prepare and execute a project plan for each market, basedon customers’ needs, as well as opportunities detected
Develop and follow-up on market research in order to understandcustomers’ purchasing power, competitors’ position within the market and thecompany’s presence
Ensure that distributors, agents and customers are provided withthe necessary training and that they are aware of product updates
Identify dealers and agents based on commercial departmentrecommendations, in order to build a distributor network in the assigned area(Eastern Europe)
Partner with commercial team to plan and prepare the annualsales budget and strategy
Provide technical and commercial support to clients whenrequired
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developingsolutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to the management team
Manage existing client base and develop new business
Successful record in field sales and / or business development
Ideally a proven background within the plastics packaging sectorin Eastern Europe, however candidates with the relevant language skills fromother manufacturing sectors will be considered
Account management skills
Fluency in both written and spoken English, Russian and Polish isessential
Good communications skills; ability to work face to face withclients, as well as be able to translate market / customer needs for otherswithin the business
Availability to travel frequently (50 - 75%)
