We’re looking for a talented and energetic Project Planner II to join our team! This role can be located in Slovakia, Poland, Spain or Bulgaria and would be suitable for someone from a Project Management background (such as Project Specialist / Associate or Associate Project Manager) or a Resourcing Analyst background.

You'll be accountable for :

  • Identifying the number and type of resources required for project fulfillment activities, including their location and experiences
  • Analyzing resourcing and capacity across the organization based on information provided by Business Development on pipeline activities
  • Identifying and assigns the best available candidates as quickly as possible to project teams
  • Managing complex resourcing requests within programs of work
  • Liaising with internal customers to review contract / budget areas that impact planning of projects or assignment of staff required to manage project work
  • Maintaining / overseeing staff tracking assignments and providing updates as needed regarding availability and assignment status to ensure projects are staffed appropriately as defined by budgets
  • Responsible for the quality of scheduling data through ongoing review and monitoring of plans and scheduling with team members
  • Understanding critical path analyses and potential impact working with Senior Project Planners to proactively identify changes to plans and support resourcing to meet such changes
  • Participating in and proactively contributing to project-related meetings to support scheduling and resourcing plans.
  • Maintaining or overseeing the entry of information / status into the resourcing system
  • Assisting with the preparation of a comprehensive project schedule which provides all levels of management of accurate data for decision-
  • Actively collaborating with the project team to ensure the client deliverables and expectations are achieved
  • You'll need this to be considered :

  • Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in life sciences or other field from an accredited institution
  • Prior industry experience is preferred (CRO or Pharmaceutical)
  • Previous experience with resourcing or scheduling responsibilities within a CRO or Pharmaceutical environment
  • Project Management experience wrould be advantageous
  • Ability to build good working relationships and communicate clearly with internal and external customers / vendors to meet project specific goals
  • Experience interacting with project teams, clients and other functional areas to manage customer issues and questions
  • Management of time and project requirements based on study deliverables
  • Knowledge of ICH / GCP regulations
  • Basic understanding of Pharmaceutical and CRO processes and knowledge of Project Management methodologies within the industry
  • Desirable to have MS Project or similar project scheduling software training / qualifications
  • Fluent verbal and written English
  • Team player, collaborative and able to work well as part of an effective team environment working flexibly with other team members to meet workload peaks and troughs
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
