Responsibilities

Reporting into the People & Culture Department, the HR Manager delivers best-in-class HR support and drives field and corporate internal HR initiatives, including Management / Employee coaching, employee relations, employment law compliance support, employee engagement measures, HR project management, and other HR responsibilities for the region that it supports (Europe).

Essential Job Functions :

  • Develop a deep understanding of WilsonHCG’s business goals in order to build a strong consultative relationship with client groups
  • Provide proactive and strategic, analytical guidance and support for organizational planning and development initiatives that align the human resources agenda in support of key business strategies and initiatives in client groups
  • Drive HR Operational excellence within each of the European countries in which WilsonHCG operates to include managing resources to ensure we are locally compliant
  • Provides proactive Employee Relations support including performance management coaching, documentation and collaboration, leading confidential investigations, and leading grievance processes in Europe
  • Provides assigned Client Groups compliance advisement and support
  • Regularly coaches supervisors and team leads on best management practices, particularly as it relates to performance management, employee relations issues, conflict management and issue resolution
  • Engages with internal Client Group management on organizational design initiatives, including compensation support and succession planning, while ensuring market-
  • to-market consistency and HR best practices

  • Working with the broader corporate P&C team, leads, participates in and drives HR-related projects in a variety of different P&C related areas
  • Drives positive associate relations through field activities, recognition programs, and support of other corporate initiatives
  • May participate in acquisition teams during due diligence and integration phases
  • Travel (up to 50%)
  • Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience :

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressively increasing HR experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity, with at least 2 years of HR Management experience
  • Must have multi-country European HR support experience and be knowledgeable in European country labor laws and labor codes, with particular emphasis on Poland and the UK
  • Experience leading and managing successful high visibility projects within an organization
  • Adept at balancing strategic thinking, while able to execute hands-on with client groups
  • Experience in high-growth and fast-paced industry
  • Requires extensive employee relations and coaching experience
  • Requires up-to-date knowledge of local compliance laws in the UK and Poland (other European countries helpful)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is required
  • Proven experience exercising sound judgement and decision making
  • Requires a resourceful individual, adept at creating innovative solutions in an unstructured environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Educational and Professional Licensing or Certification Requirements :
  • College / University degree required
