Job Description :
Be a Buddy for Entry-level Analysts on given expertise area
Perform configuration analysis across SAP and its associated integration points
Provide functional knowledge for the applications supported by 3M’s global support organization
Ability to resolve complex business requirements via SAP configured solutions
Develop functional / technical specifications for break / fix & minor enhancements and collaborate with the development organization for their development
Resolve Level 2 queries (i.e. break / fix, etc.) that are assigned to them by the Queue Manager
Accountable for end-to-end resolution of incidents; track and monitor incidents throughout the lifecycle
Collaborates as needed with other SAP support team members
Facilitates interactions and escalations with appropriate groups (e.g. 3M SAP process teams, Global Infrastructure, etc.)
Accountable for completion of all communication activities back to the consumer (while communication may be executed by others, case manager is accountable for the completion of communication activities)
Meet or exceed established SAP Support Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Update procedures, operation instructions, and any other documentation impacted by system changes
Must be able to travel internationally if needed
Off hours on-call support is required
Ensures adherence to 3M and Global Support Organization policies, guidelines, and procedures as required for the effectiveness and quality of the services provided.
Continuous improvement of processes and Lean Six Sigma project coordination.
Positively contributes to and supports team efforts and objectives
Bachelor’s Degree with an accredited University / College
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with SAP
Must be fluent in English
Experience with support in SAP eWM, GTS, TM or WM, SD
Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Experience working in a global SAP environment
Individual must be detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem solving skills. The ability to multi-
task is inherent in the job responsibilities
Ability to develop and exercise task specific project plans with minimal supervision.
Experience working with SAP Solution Manager, HP Service Manager, HP Quality Center, and IT Help Request would be beneficial
Practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma would be beneficial
