Job Description

We are excited to offer a unique job opportunity in Graphics Architecture Team at Intel.

You will need expertise in 3D graphics, analytical skills and creativity.

You will have a chance to work in the world’s largest PC GPU manufacturer on their exciting new products ranging from low-

power devices to high end computing graphics.

As Graphics Performance Architect you will be responsible for research and prototyping of graphics IP. Specifically, you will work closely with architects, software / hardware engineering, and simulator experts.

You will work on characterization of various workloads, identification of system bottlenecks, designing and modeling of features and configurations that improve power / performance while meeting platform constraints.

You also will assess the performance and efficiency of our new capabilities versus our previous products and our competition on a range of 3D Graphics workloads from benchmarks and real 3D games using various API : OpenGL*, Microsoft DX*, Apple Metal*, Vulkan*.

You will also have opportunity to engage in creation of new graphics standards and APIs as well as getting access to most recent technical papers, courses and conferences.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Design architecture for the latest graphics APIs
  • Prototype new features using architectural simulators
  • Characterize and analyze most recent and industry leading games and benchmarks
  • Evaluate new optimizations and work with HW and SW experts on their implementation
  • Must have :

  • Master of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 year experience in 3D graphics with good knowledge of 3D game techniques and rendering algorithms
  • Knowledge of 3D computer graphics theory and API standards Direct3D*, Vulcan*, OpenGL*, Metal*
  • Practical knowledge of C / C++ at least 3 years of experience
  • Ability to technically lead tasks and solve complex technical issues
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn and gain new knowledge
  • Fluency in English
  • Nice to have :

  • Knowledge of GPU hardware architectures
  • Experience with 3D game development and power / performance optimizations of 3D games for GPU hardware architectures
  • Practical knowledge of scripting languages
  • Fluency in Polish
  • Gaming passionate
