Join us as an Operations Supervisor Central Pricing
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Supervisor to join our Fund Accounting Department. In this role you will be responsible for effective direction and supervision of the daily activities of Central Pricing team.
The Supervisor is responsible for the productivity of the team by validating the processing of high risk securities, training the Central Pricing Team on new tasks and workflow.
Supervisor assists the staff with day to day escalation issues, ensures that the team is on schedule to meet its daily deliverables, and works to improve processes and implement new procedures based on client requirements.
Some of your key responsibilities include :
Ensure daily responsibilities are assigned to staff and that schedules are being followed ensuring no delay in deliverables.
Provide staff with tools and training to complete their daily responsibilities.
Ensure Central Pricing’s key metrics are properly recorded and tracked. Understand the drivers of volume spikes and lapses in timeliness.
Escalate issues to Section Manager.
Provide regular feedback to specialists throughout the year using BBH’s performance management tools.
Coach staff in areas where they need improvement in an effort to give them the skills needed to advance.
Delegate work effectively to provide staff with a broad skill set.
Assist with new client conversions, new client initiatives, and new vendor processes.
Help to develop the processes and procedures needed to allow clients to use new vendors, new asset types, and new workflows.
Partner with CSG to assist them in reducing their manual workload providing solutions for more efficient workflow and automation.
Review E&O’s with Section Managers to implement additional controls.
BS / BA degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of fund accounting, custody, securities processing or other industry experience.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Ability to communicate professionally with others.
An aptitude for analytical and problem resolution.
Self-starter, proactive, and objective oriented.
Enthusiastic leadership skills and ability to engage others.
Ability to work on Polish holidays.
