Position Description :

Parts & Service is a function within Quality & Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for Reduce downtime and increase profitability for the bus owner / owners.

Aftermarket Project Management is a global function within Parts & Service, represented in Sweden, Poland, Brazil, Mexico and India.

We are now looking for Parts & Service Delivery Coordinator who have the passion to drive Aftermarket team from Orders / Tenders initiation to the end of the project in full scope (chassis and body).

  • You will secure the aftermarket deliveries in Orders / Tenders from our functions : Spare Parts Engineering, Spare Parts Information, Service Engineering, Information Management and Diagnostics &
  • Embedded Systems. You will represent the Aftermarket area as a member in the VPI Order Teams. You will lead, plan and secure aftermarket activities.

    Main activities and responsibilities :

  • Proactively leading, driving and following-up the aftermarket delivery of the Orders / Tenders according to decided support processes, managing the stakeholders, communicating and minimizing the risks
  • Manage risk to minimize impact on project, pro-actively escalate risks and concerns outside project team control to line management
  • Make all decisions needed, established in cooperation with the Parts & Service Site Board, to reach the Orders / Tenders requirements
  • Make a decision about spare parts engineering solutions and choose best parts distribution channel (Central / TSE / Unnumbered).
  • Coordinate market request related to design of changes in busses after delivery (CBS PAS)
  • Closely cooperate with Aftermarket Project Managers and other Parts & Service Delivery Coordinators to secure full product support delivered via projects and Orders / Tender related activities
  • Identify critical parts for potential break down
  • Review technical documentation and spare part proposal from supplier
  • Take an active role in developing future ways of working, with an end user and customer mind set
  • Act as an Argus back office member to support Bus Support Center with the responsibility to solve cases.

  • Information Management,

    Diagnostics & Embedded Systems,

    provided by resources located in Poland, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico and India.

    In this position you will be a member of Parts & Service Site Board and report to Parts & Service Site Manager.

    Required knowledge, skills & experience :

  • Master degree in engineering or equivalent competence
  • Minimum 2 years of experience from Spare Parts Engineering
  • Service Engineering experience is a merit
  • Experience from working in cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge about aftermarket and product development systems and processes in Volvo (GLOPPS, Kola, SAP NBM, KAP, OAS, VDA, VDB) - nice to have
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Business oriented with a clear customer focus
  • Holistic view and ability to work cross functionally and build strong relations
  • Ability to coach and lead in a challenging environment
  • Pro-active and open mind set
  • Strong team player, self-starter and the ability to take initiatives
  • Fluent in English spoken and written
