We are currently looking for a Data Analyst for our EMEA Hotels & Hospitality Group.
Based in Warsaw, and supporting the EMEA Hotel Research team this role focuses on the collection, collation, and analysis of EMEA hotel market performance, key drivers and transactions data to support business development, client instructions and the needs of internal stakeholders.
In addition, the role includes updating slide decks for presentations, regular data outputs, tracking client contacts and analyzing data from the regional value measurement system and checking content on our research platform.
What this job involves
Record, update and cross-check hotel transactions into our web-based database, Salesforce.
Collect and analyze hotel trading data, demand drivers and investment volumes for both internal stakeholders and clients.
Responsible for collecting, maintaining and consolidating data from third party data providers.
Ensure accuracy and validity of market data by developing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance measures.
Develop new ways to collect & manage data so it's easily accessible to the wider HHG group.
Deliver the EMEA Daily Bulletin to internal stakeholders, logging articles etc.
Responsible for the quarterly Hotel Slide Deck and Research Cheat sheet.
Responsible for a producing high-quality Hotel Intelligence Reports across the CEE region.
Deliver user analysis of the Hotel Intelligence Hub to senior stakeholders on a regular basis.
Deliver a quarterly client update, ensuring the deadline is met and report is written to a high standard.
Undertake varied research requests and analysis for clients and colleagues including client presentations, data requests etc.
Building relationships with specific HHG country teams to ensure smooth data collection, process and product enhancement
In the future the role will develop to allow the candidate to explore different ways of analyzing data sets and visualization of data through PowerBI or Tableau.

The successful candidate will be numerate with a degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, real estate or geography.
A post-graduate qualification is beneficial but not required.
Previous experience of managing data collection and collation processes; data validation; time series data analysis, and the building of indices are essential.
A sound working knowledge and experience of using statistical software packages is required, as is a strong command of advanced analytical techniques within Microsoft Excel, eg visual basic, macros
An interest in property markets and property research.
A good knowledge Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
A commercial, pro-active and business oriented approach with a focus on providing internal stakeholders and external clients with a high-
quality and high-value service.
Technical competence in managing and analysing large volumes of data.
A strong focus and adherence to delivery and quality control processes.
Organised, able to work independently and effectively manage workload with some experience of project management.
Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
Team player who is able to take initiative and instruction in equal measure
Clear ability to work across property sectors and working cultures to achieve results
Excellent communication skills, with a clear ability to communicate across all business levels and disseminate knowledge throughout the organisation
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and focused
A keen interest in process enhancement and innovation
An ability to use data to generate new interpretative tools and techniques
A willingness to share new ideas / themes with the wider research team
Clear awareness of emerging statistical techniques and their potential to bring new insights or efficiencies
Basic GIS skills would advantageous
A keen interest and experience in using data visualisation packages such as PowerBi or Tableau would be an advantage
