Senior in Technical Product Marketing

The technology product marketing role provides marketing support to help drive business strategy, operational readiness and on-

going campaign and sales enablement support. This position requires close interaction with Sabre technologists, technology product management, marketing communications and sales to drive market-

led priorities. Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate and simplify complex, technical concepts, are a must.

Duties include building technical messaging & positioning, sales enablement materials and launching products into market.

This individual is accountable for business results and cross-functional team leadership.

For assigned technology product families, this role will :

  • Position Airline Solutions as a thought leader in the market with customer centric positioning and messaging targeted to segment and buying role, through a multi-
  • channel approach including (e.g. webinars, whitepapers, speaking engagements, or the Portal / Hub)

  • Support and enable sales to articulate key technology messages and market problems, identify target prospect lists, leverage value-
  • based collateral , presentations or integrated demonstrations (utilizing relevant personas), and support strategic sales pursuits

  • Define and drive the product campaign and launch (go-to-market) plans from internal communications and awareness to sales enablement through external market promotion
  • Collect testimonials or case studies and identifies key customer references to support a portfolio program
  • Understand market and business and technology buyers to target, define buyer personas, and participate in relevant industry, trade and community events
  • Monitor market adoption of product through its lifecycle and identifying areas for new sales including consulting or cross-
  • Job Requirements

  • MBA preferred; Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of business-to-business technology, solution management or product marketing experience .
  • Experience with marketing or managing a technology product (s) across its life cycle from definition to end-of-life
  • Ability to lead and participate in technical conversations with developers, architects and other technologists
  • Proactively stay atop new advances in technology and how to market relevant to our business goals
  • Strong, proven leadership skills in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment with executive presence.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to operate well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Domain expertise in the airline or software industry
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
